Google下一个版本的TensorFlow神经网络软件将在iPhone和iPad上运行,为移动设备带来一个全新的智能计算类型。几天前,Google发布了TensorFlow的一个早期版本(0.9 RC),特点是添加了对iOS的支持。作为一款神经网络软件,它可以让计算机像人脑一样处理数据,这也是人工智能向计算领域进军的重要一步。除了帮iPhone提升IQ,TensorFlow后续还会被引入更复杂的应用。
人工智能成为硅谷企业的心头好已经很很多年,各大公司(包括Facebook、微软、eBay、IBM)都在幕后投入了不少的精力去研发。
微软联合创始人比尔·盖茨上周表示,当前人工智能领域的发展,是计算机行业“最令人兴奋和向往的事情了”。
为了将TensorFlow搬到iOS平台,Google辛苦工作了好几个月。TensorFlow能够理解句子的结构并执行高水平的任务,但需要高性能机器甚至网络设备的加持。
不过在小型设备上,它也同样可以派上用场,比如识别照片中的对象、或者向手机描述一个特定对象的样子。Google已将机器学习技术运用到了超过100个领域,并希望AI能够部署到全新的服务场景。

- Tensorboard graph visualizer now supports run metadata. Clicking on nodes while viewing a stats for a particular run will show runtime statistics, such as memory or compute usage. Unused nodes will be faded out.
