Scala 2.12.0-M1 发布，Scala 2.12 系列的目标是 Java 8。
Scala 2.12 改进计划：
- Java 8 style closures.
- Lambda syntax for SAM types
- New backend and optimizer
将会移除的模块：
- The Scala actors library is no longer released with Scala 2.12
- The Scala distribution archives and the
scala-library-allmaven dependency no longer inlcude Akka actors. - The continuations plugin is no longer shipped with the Scala 2.12 distribution.
